Today, the Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA) hosted a key working meeting as part of the SIESTA project, bringing together 33 representatives from the various partner organizations involved in the research. Led by Álvaro López García, the event stood out for its collaborative approach, aiming to review progress, share knowledge, and strengthen coordination among participants.
The day began with a registration and welcome session, allowing attendees to establish a networking environment from the outset. This was followed by a detailed report on the current status of the project, covering financial aspects and the latest updates.
Next, a dedicated session focused on reviewing the platform’s status, with presentations highlighting both achievements and ongoing challenges. This segment provided a valuable exchange of ideas and perspectives, essential for the continuous improvement of the tool. After a coffee break, the discussions resumed with an emphasis on use cases, where practical applications were explored, and opportunities to optimize the platform based on user needs were identified.
In the afternoon, hands-on tutorials were conducted, designed to train participants in advanced platform usage and familiarize them with new features. These sessions proved highly effective, equipping attendees with practical tools to drive the project’s implementation forward.

In conclusion, the day at IFCA was a model of efficiency and collaboration, reflecting the commitment of all partners to the success of the SIESTA project. The event not only reinforced the progress made but also laid the foundation for future innovations.
