Final day of the SIESTA Project All-Hands Meeting at IFCA

The second day of the SIESTA Project All-Hands Meeting at the Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA) was marked by insightful discussions and collaborative efforts across key research areas. The sessions provided an opportunity for experts to analyze challenges, share knowledge, and refine strategies to advance the project’s goals.

The day began with a focus on modelling machine-actionable data sensitivity and policy evaluation. This session addressed critical aspects of data management, security, and policy compliance, essential for ensuring the robustness of the SIESTA framework.

Following this, the discussion shifted to data stage-out and risk control (WP11), where participants explored strategies to mitigate data-related risks and improve data handling efficiency. These discussions were crucial for reinforcing best practices in secure and effective data workflows.

A key highlight of the day was the deep dive into system architecture. While some participants held dedicated discussions on the topic in smaller groups, the entire assembly later engaged in a broader conversation to align on architectural decisions. This comprehensive approach ensured that all perspectives were considered in shaping the project’s technological foundation.

The final session of the day focused on communication and dissemination, emphasizing the importance of effectively sharing research outcomes with both the scientific community and the broader public. Clear and impactful dissemination strategies will play a pivotal role in maximizing the project’s reach and impact.

With these productive discussions, the final day of the SIESTA Project All-Hands Meeting reinforced the project’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. The progress made during these sessions will contribute to refining the project’s direction and ensuring its long-term success.
