Building on the strong collaborative foundations established during previous All Hands Meetings, the Second EOSC-SIESTA All Hands Meeting will serve as a key milestone to assess the progress achieved so far and to align the consortium on the next phase of the project.
The meeting will take place in Madrid, hosted at the CSIC – Institute of Economics, Geography and Demography (CSIC-IEGD), and will bring together partners from across the EOSC-SIESTA consortium. As in earlier editions, the focus will be on fostering open discussion, technical coordination, and shared understanding across work packages.
The programme is expected to combine plenary sessions with more focused technical discussions. Partners will review the current status of the project, including overall progress, technical developments, and coordination aspects, while also addressing open challenges that have emerged as the platform and use cases have evolved. Particular attention will be given to the consolidation of results achieved to date and how these feed into the next development and integration steps.
Following the approach of previous meetings, dedicated sessions will again be devoted to the SIESTA platform itself, with updates on its maturity, functionality, and performance. These discussions will allow partners to exchange feedback, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that technical decisions remain aligned with user needs and project objectives. Use cases will also play a central role, serving as a practical lens through which the platform’s capabilities and limitations can be assessed.
Hands-on and interactive sessions are expected to complement the more strategic discussions, enabling participants to engage directly with tools, workflows, and new features developed since the last All Hands Meeting. This practical dimension has proven essential in previous editions and remains a key element in supporting effective adoption and implementation across the consortium.
Overall, the Second All Hands Meeting is conceived as a natural continuation of the collaborative process established so far: a space to take stock of progress, strengthen coordination between partners, and collectively shape the roadmap for the coming months of the project.
