EOSC-SIESTA continues its series of webinars. In previous sessions, the project partnered with EOSC-TITAN and EOSC-ENTRUST to present the three projects together with dedicated technical talks . In the second webinar, different data privacy tools developed within SIESTA were introduced along with an introduction to trusted data repositories.
This time, EOSC-SIESTA will hold its third webinar, “A journey through the SIESTA computing infrastructure,” on June 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CEST.
The session will offer an overview of the main components that support the EOSC-SIESTA computing infrastructure, presenting the platform from three complementary perspectives: providers, users and developers. This webinar will present the key components of the EOSC-SIESTA computing infrastructure, the dashboard, the process for deploying a catalog through pipelines, as well as security hardening in the cluster.

The first talk, “SIESTA Providers view: Technological Foundation and Infrastructures”, will focus on the infrastructure from the perspective of platform providers. It will present the technological basis needed to deploy a confidential computing environment, including Trusted Execution Environments, Confidential Containers and the set of core services required to support the SIESTA platform.
The second talk, “SIESTA Users view: User interfaces and services” introduces the main user-facing components and services of the EOSC-SIESTA platform from the final-user point of view. The speech presents the Onixya environment and its service catalogue approach and also covers the catalogue management via Keycloak groups and the interaction between deployed services and the underlying infrastructure components.
The third talk “SIESTA Developers view: Development and Integration” summarizes practical lessons learned, integration challenges, and recommendations for the project use cases looking to improve cybersecurity while maintaining operational flexibility and scalability. This part of the webinar covers CI/CD pipelines with DevOps Catalogue, Policy-as-Code enforcement using Open Policy Agent (OPA), configuration validation with Conftest, automated code quality and vulnerability analysis with Sonar-based tooling, and secure artifact management using Nexus repositories.
Together, the three sessions will provide a complete journey through the SIESTA computing infrastructure.The webinar is aimed at technical teams, platform operators, data science researchers and stakeholders interested in secure cloud environments, confidential computing and secure interactive environments for sensitive data analytics
