In the context of the European Open Science Cloud, collaboration and synergies with other projects play an essential role in ensuring that results are not developed in isolation, but contribute to a broader and more coherent ecosystem. By connecting with related initiatives, projects can exchange knowledge, align technical and strategic approaches, and build on existing tools, services and good practices. This collaborative approach helps strengthen the overall impact of EOSC, supporting the development community for Open Science.
EOSC-FIDELIS has created a training programme named “Support for the Adoption of Solutions” that will introduce participants to best practices, tools, services, and other relevant solutions, and supported in implementing them within their own repositories.
FIDELIS will provide each selected team with 7,500 euros to support the staff time required to participate in the support offer. This funding will be paid after the successful completion of the support offer and will be provided as a flat rate, regardless of the number of people taking part in each team. In addition, FIDELIS will organise and provide access to virtual workshops

Participation of EOSC-SIESTA
EOSC-SIESTA is participating in Adoption of Solutions with Support Offer #2: Tools for privacy-preserving data release and trustworthy publication.
This training offers a comprehensive practical introduction to data privacy tools and methods, which enable privacy-preserving data sharing and reliable publication. It is aimed at repository managers, researchers, and data professionals who work with sensitive data and whose goal is to facilitate the secure exchange of data in accordance with FAIR principles. Throughout the sessions, various tools developed within the EOSC SIESTA framework will also be presented, with a special focus on data privacy protection, including data anonymization, privacy risk assessment, synthetic data generation, and text anonymization.
Participants will learn how these tools can be integrated into data workflows and repository services to facilitate compliance with privacy requirements without compromising the utility of the data. Furthermore, the training will explore the relationship between privacy-preserving techniques and the FAIR principles, offering guidance on how to balance openness and data protection in real-world scenarios, as well as demonstrating how to integrate FAIR compliance verification tools into existing workflows.
Finally, an interactive session will be held in which participants will develop a use case based on the concepts learned during the theoretical sessions.
Up to 12 individuals or teams will receive support through this offer. In addition, a maximum of 10 observers may be accepted. Observers will be able to join the technical workshops and access the support materials, but they will not receive financial support or personalised assistance. Although they may attend the technical and theoretical sessions, they will not be able to take part in the Q&A or wrap-up sessions. Access to the training materials will depend on the licence and conditions established by the organisers.
Before submitting an application, applicants should be aware that the support offers will take place between September and November 2026. This is a general timeframe, as each support offer will follow its own specific schedule. Participation will require a dedicated amount of staff time, which is detailed in each individual offer.
As part of the process, participation in a support offer will lead to the publication of an Implementation Story, co-authored by the FIDELIS team and the selected participants. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to share the lessons learnt through a webinar organised by FIDELIS.
The call is open to individuals or to individuals representing a team within a single organisation. Applicants must reside and/or work in an EU Member State or in a Horizon Europe Associated Country for the full duration of the grant.
