We’re pleased to announce that the SIESTA project will participate in the upcoming EEGLAB 2025 Symposium, a key event in the field of computational neuroscience and brain signal analysis. The symposium will take place from June 18–20, 2025, at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and is organized by Arno Delorme (CNRS Toulouse/UCSD), a leading developer of EEGLAB and expert in EEG and MEG research.
What is the EEGLAB Symposium?
The EEGLAB Symposium is an international meeting that brings together researchers, developers, and users of EEGLAB, a widely used open-source MATLAB toolbox for EEG and MEG data analysis. The event includes hands-on workshops, scientific presentations, and discussions on state-of-the-art methods in neural signal processing.
This year’s program will cover key topics such as artifact rejection, machine learning for EEG, source localization, and cross-platform workflows for EEG analysis.
SIESTA’s contribution
As part of the symposium, SIESTA will organize a dedicated session connected to Work Package 15 (WP15), which focuses on neuroimaging and brain signal processing. This session will:
- Present tools and methodologies developed within SIESTA
- Promote collaboration with other neuroscience and AI research efforts
- Showcase the role of advanced computing infrastructures in supporting EEG/MEG analysis
This event provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties with the broader neuroinformatics community and to highlight SIESTA’s ongoing contributions to reproducible, scalable neuroscience research.
