On June 26th, 2026, EOSC-SIESTA will participate in the final event of the TESSERA project, joining the session dedicated to sibling projects and related initiatives to present a comprehensive overview of the project goals, tools, and capabilities.
About TESSERA
TESSERA aims to prepare high-quality, large-scale, trusted, and shareable datasets based on real-world operational needs, in support of the European Security Data Space for Innovation. The project focuses on analyzing and defining the requirements to ensure that different datasets can interoperate and be shared while protecting privacy and fundamental human rights, as well as outlining the detailed architecture for the national components of the European Security Data Space, covering user management, data access, and exchange.
EOSC-SIESTA presentation
Judith Sainz-Pardo from the Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA), a joint center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Cantabria (UC), will present in the session Sibling Projects & Related Initiatives (16:30–17:30 EEST), giving an overview of the project.
The presentation will cover an introduction to EOSC-SIESTA, its context within the European Open Science Cloud, and the challenges it addresses around the secure processing of sensitive research data. The objectives of the project will also be presented.
Finally, an overview of the tools (pyCANON, anjana and trasgoDP) and services developed within the project will be presented, covering the components built to support secure and privacy-compliant data analysis across research disciplines. The session will also include a live demo of the EOSC-SIESTA dashboard.
